The aim of the research project is the development of a software system for the control of mobile robots and robot manipulators with brain commands. The innovation of the proposed system is the realization of a portable solution for use at home and industrial environment, overcoming the limitations of current systems that are usable in the laboratory and are in highly controlled environments.
The specific objectives of the project are:
– The open-source implementation of a just BCI of ROS (Robot Operating System) to simply interfacing to robots
– The development of a parallel BCI system for decoding different mental states
– The creation of an advanced architecture for navigation of mobile robots led by BCI (telepresence).
